Through NiKara Preclinical, I help research teams turn complex surgical and anesthesia challenges into reliable, reproducible results. With over 20 years in veterinary medicine and preclinical research, I combine hands-on surgical expertise with deep regulatory knowledge — so your studies run smoothly, ethically, and on time.

I started my veterinary career in 1998, working in clinics and shelters, and earned my A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology in 2006. Since then, I’ve specialized in surgery and anesthesia across species from pets to great apes, handling everything from routine procedures to advanced open-heart and neurological surgeries. My experience spans high-volume mobile surgical units to the most advanced catheter lab environments.

I am a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), BLS & ALS certified through RECOVER, and a Surgical Research Specialist (SRS). I’ve trained alongside board-certified anesthesiologists, surgeons, and top Surgical Research Specialists — ensuring your studies benefit from the highest standards of skill, safety, and scientific rigor.
